A Pinkalicious Birthday

With Grandma & Grandpa in town for Thanksgiving, we decided to celebrate Evie’s birthday a little early.  I had been asking her what kind of cake she wanted & she was adamant that she wanted a construction site cake (like her brother had earlier this year) or a lady bug cake (the same one she had for her birthday last year).  I searched around on Pinterest a while and somewhere it hit me . . . Pinkalicious!  She absolutely loves this book, so it would make the perfect birthday cake for her.  I found one that I liked on Pinterest and made my own version of it.  She was thrilled, told me what a great day it was, and asked if she could have a birthday again next week!  She’ll get her wish since it actually is her birthday this week & we’ll pull the rest of the cake out of the freezer for that special day.
