I love homemade bread! The smell, the taste, especially when it’s warm from the oven – it’s really hard to beat that. Until now, most of the recipes I’ve used (and loved) have either not been great for sandwiches or have been crumbly and starting to dry out after a couple of days – if they last that long.
But this homemade whole wheat bread recipe is an exception! It is great for sandwiches and still as soft and fresh tasting on day 2, 3, and beyond. My sister, Rashelle, introduced me to this great recipe by Samantha at www.fivehearthome.com.
