Clutter Free Challenge: Day 8

Today’s Clutter Free Challenge was organizing the junk drawer. Over the years, I’ve tried to avoid having a junk drawer but we do have a small one and I was surprised by how much was in there that needed to be tossed out:  empty battery boxes, twist ties, cords that I have no idea what they go to. But a few minutes of clearing out left me with a nice, pretty junk drawer 🙂

We keep the kids’ markers there and they are expected to ask before using them since we still have a 3 year old that likes to color in new and fun places (fun for her, not for us!).  This is also where we store batteries. And a couple odds and ends like super glue, dry erase markers, a charging cord, etc that were easily stored in a sandwich box from the dollar store.
