We took the kids to a robot rally last weekend and had a lot of fun. They had all sorts of things for the kids to watch and hands on stuff too. The favorite thing was getting to make their own Art Robot that they got to take home, thanks to the public library’s booth.
They were super simple to put together and have given the kids lots of entertainment so far. A couple of tips we learned:
- they used washable markers . . . so smart
- the motor they used was smaller than the pool noodle hole so they had taped a couple of cut pieces of straws to it to make it large enough to really have to wedge it in there so it won’t fall out
